Understanding credits
Marnix uses a credit system. Every action that generates or modifies code costs credits. Credits reset monthly on the same day your billing cycle started.

Why voice costs more
Voice builds involve a real-time conversation powered by Vapi, which processes audio, runs speech-to-text, and maintains a live AI session throughout the huddle. This costs more to run than a single text prompt, which is why voice builds cost 240 credits vs 100 for text. The benefit is a higher-quality brief that typically produces better results and requires fewer iterations.

These estimates assume each build is followed by 2–3 iterations. Heavy iteration will reduce the number of full builds per month; minimal iteration will increase it.
How credit reset works
Credits reset on your billing renewal date — the same date each month that you signed up or upgraded. Unused credits do not roll over; each month starts fresh with your full allocation.

Use text mode for quick experiments and voice mode when you're ready to commit to a build. This way you get the best of both: low-cost exploration and high-quality final builds.
